Robin Lovelace

Mr. Lovelace was born in Valley City, North Dakota. His parents moved to Tacoma, Washington before his first birthday. When he was four years old the family moved to San Francisco, California. He has one younger brother and two younger sisters.

San Francisco was where he went to grade school, middle school, and the first two years of high school. He started going to Seventh-day Adventist schools in the sixth grade. For his last two years of high school he went to Monterey Bay Academy where he graduated. From there he went to Pacific Union College in Angwin, California where he graduated with his teaching degree.

He taught for five years in North Dakota and two years in Arkansas before coming to Oregon and starting at Rogue River Junior Academy (now Rogue Valley Adventist Academy) in 1983. At one time or another, he has taught all of the grades from Kindergarten to high school seniors. He presently is teaching in the high school. The classes that he enjoys teaching the most are Bible and history.

Mr. Lovelace first met his wife Tania in sixth grade. They started dating in college, and were married in San Francisco, California. They have three grown children (Mark, Laura, and Steven) and four grandchildren (Victoria, Alexander, Joseph, and Emma).

In his spare time, he enjoys reading, traveling, bird watching, and photography.
