Our middle school includes grades 5–8 and is a place where students find a safe and healthy place to learn each day and develop a deeper relationship with Christ. Students are instructed with a Bible-based curriculum, where an entire period is dedicated to the study of the Bible through our Encounters curriculum which only magnifies their experience in the core curriculum as connections are made academically. Each Tuesday, students also experience a time for chapel where a local pastor comes and shares spiritual insight, experience and knowledge. The 6th Graders highlight their year by having the opportunity to experience an outdoor education trip to Big Lake Youth Camp, an Adventist resident center located in the Willamette National Forest near Sisters, Oregon. Another major experience is service in the local community where once a month students are acquainted with hands on service from the heart. For the 8th graders, in order to celebrate their huge educational milestone, students encounter a formal graduation and a class trip commemorating this important year.
